Mark has more than 20 years experience in the Public Safety arena from Paramedic, to Law Enforcement Officer to National Security Investigator.
Tydewater Strategic Services, LLC. was established in 2016 due to a local need for Police K9 Training services. After working several years for another vendor Mark started his own company in an effort to bring additional training services and quality tactical and K9 related equipment to its customers.

Mark started his law enforcement career in 1997 and retired in 2016. Mark served in many capacities through out his career such as: Corrections, Patrol Officer, Patrol Supervisor, K9 Handler, K9 Trainer, K9 Supervisor, Tactical Team Operator, Tactical Medic, Counter Sniper and Team Leader. Mark has been a Nationally Accredited Trainer of Utility and Narcotic Detection Teams since 2010 and is a Life Member of the North American Police Work Dog Association.
Mark is also a Maryland Certified Law Enforcement Academic and Firearms Instructor.
